NetSphere Community should make ordinary enterprise topology easier to read before it tries to explain advanced fabric details. Use this checklist when reviewing a topology screen.

Topology Checks

Check the visible underlay before advanced analysis.

Rows

Core, Distribution, Access, Edge, Endpoint

The first screen should use the enterprise underlay rows by default.

Evidence

Every link should explain itself

LLDP, CDP, ARP, MAC table, route, SNMP, SSH, or HTTP fingerprint evidence should be visible.

Confidence

Low-confidence links should be obvious

Candidate links should not look as strong as confirmed topology links.

Boundary

Fabric analysis belongs to Pro

VXLAN, EVPN, SDN, and Datacenter Fabric details should not appear in Community topology.
