Development stays on two tracks: Community + Standard, and Pro.

Community and Standard are one codebase with license-limited scale. Pro is the advanced operations product.

Community + Standard

Designed for legacy, campus, branch, and mixed-vendor visibility.

The first-release experience is discovery, topology, monitoring, and read-only diagnostics.

No SNMP: ICMP, ARP, TCP, HTTP fingerprint fallback
SNMP available: sysDescr, ifAdminStatus, ifOperStatus for NMS
SSH available: CLI parser and sync for supported vendors
Topology: enterprise 3-tier underlay by default
Contribution: opt-in, masking preview, accepted fixture unlock

Pro

Designed for advanced fabric analysis and safe change workflows.

Pro handles the higher-complexity workflows without making the Community MVP harder to understand.

Execution Plan

The Community MVP stays intentionally simple.

The release decision should be based on install success, first scan results, 3-tier topology, NMS issues, contribution, and license flow.

Next Review

The last check is the installer and the first scan screen.
